Surface Art Association - Larsen, Alone

My current body of work is predominately mixed media pieces. This work consists of layers of etched and or carved glass backed by one or more of the following: Hand tinted etchings or photos, hand made paper, painted and or embellished fabric and found items. They are one of a kind and most of these pieces are narrative.

SAA has influenced the use of fabric in my work. I have sewn for years but never used these skills in my art work until now. It has leant a new dimension to my work and I am enjoying the exploration of this new territory.
